Rivers Governor-Elect Siminalayi Fubara Receives COR from INEC
Rivers State Governor-Elect Siminalayi Fuabara has received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Port Harcourt, Apples Bite Magazine reports.
The COR event had Governor Nyesom Wike and other party chieftains in Rivers in attendance.
Similarly, Prof. Mrs. Ngozi Nma Ordu the Deputy Governor-Elect also received her certificate of Return.
Fubara wrote: “Today, I received my certificate of return from INEC as the governor-elect of Rivers state. I am deeply humbled by the overwhelming support of the Rivers people. Thank you for trusting me with this all-important responsibility.

“This certificate of return is not just a piece of paper, it is a symbol of the trust and confidence that the people of Rivers State have placed in us. We will do everything to live up to their expectations by delivering on the mandate.
“Our administration will be guided by the principles of transparency, accountability, and responsible governance. We will work tirelessly to create a better future for Rivers state, regardless of their background or political affiliation.
“I want to assure Rivers people that I will be a governor for all, not just for those who voted for me. I will listen to your concerns and work with you to address our challenges as a state.
“Finally, I want to especially thank my Leader and Principal, HE’ Nyesom Wike, members of the Rivers State PDP Campaign Council, and the officials of INEC for conducting a free, fair, and credible election in Rivers state. I also want to thank the security agencies and all those who contributed to the election’s success. Together, we can build a better and brighter future for Rivers state.
