The Board of the Redeemed Ministers Conference (RMC) has announced the distinguished appointment of its Chairman, His Excellency Archbishop-Designate Ambassador Dr. Isaac Idahosa, as an African Union Ambassador and Diplomat. This historic honour, which makes Dr. Idahosa the first Nigerian Pentecostal minister to be so appointed, has been celebrated by the RMC community as a landmark achievement in recognition of his spiritual influence and dedication to public service.
RMC’s National President, Bishop Dr. Stephen Ogedengbe, conveyed heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the organization, highlighting Dr. Idahosa’s profound impact both within the ministry and in the larger community. “Archbishop Idahosa is a truly resourceful, energetic, and highly anointed leader whose dedication to God’s work is evident in every area of his life. We are thrilled that this new position will allow him to extend his positive influence and values to the international stage,” Bishop Ogedengbe said. “He exemplifies the best of Nigerian spirituality and leadership, and his appointment is a testimony to the unfailing grace of the Almighty God upon his life and destiny.”
Known widely for his role as the Presiding Bishop of GodFirst Ministries Inc. (Illumination Assembly) in Lagos, Dr. Idahosa has built a reputation as a deeply respected spiritual leader and public figure, advocating for unity, integrity, and compassion within his ministry. His influence also extends into politics, where he served as the vice-presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 Nigerian presidential election.
Bishop Ogedengbe emphasized the significance of Dr. Idahosa’s appointment for the wider community. “This achievement is more than just a personal honour,” he continued. “It’s a proud moment for Nigeria, and it reinforces the fact that faith and public service can create positive change on a global scale. We are confident that His Excellency will continue to uplift and advocate for the values that are dear to our hearts.”
Reflecting the excitement within the RMC, Bishop Ogedengbe closed his message with a prayerful note: “We ask that this appointment will be just the beginning of more achievements and platforms for Archbishop Idahosa to share his message of hope and unity. May the Lord God of the spirits of the prophets uphold, protect, and prosper him in all his endeavors.”
