The family of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has announced plans for her burial in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
The burial arrangements were contained in an obituary shared on the actress’s Instagram page by her family on Monday.
According to the announcement, Osoba’s remains will leave the Ogun State University Teaching Hospital (OSUTH), Sagamu, at 9:00 a.m.
The burial service is scheduled to take place between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at Akesan Club, located opposite Iperu Morning Market in Iperu Remo.
The family stated that the actress will be laid to rest at the Iperu Remo Cemetery Ground immediately after the service.
Mourners have also been asked to wear white as the official dress code for the burial.
Osoba, who was 40 years old, died in August 2026, leaving colleagues, fans and loved ones mourning her passing.
Her burial was initially postponed indefinitely after the family announced an earlier date.
In a statement signed by members of the Osoba and Awonuga families, the postponement was attributed to the need to complete further arrangements following the Candlelight and Artists’ Night organised in her honour.
The family had explained that the decision would give them additional time to make the necessary preparations and reach conclusions on the burial arrangements before announcing a new date.
With the latest announcement, the actress is now scheduled to be buried on September 10 in her hometown of Iperu Remo, Ogun State.
