Popular celebrity Khloé Kardashian has addressed rumours speculating that she used Ozempic to lose weight.
She recently responded to the public reactions to her sudden weight loss, and fans have been reacting.
Speaking on the latest episode of her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, the reality star had her say during a candid conversation with fitness influencer Whitney Simmons.
According to her, she has always been criticized for her appearance ever since she became a public figure, and despite her recent transformation, the backlash hasn’t stopped.
“The bigger I was, I was way more confident Because, like, what are you going to say about me? I already knew all the things people would throw at me,” she said.
Khloe stated that as her fitness journey progressed, she constantly felt the need to maintain her new figure, not just for herself, but to meet the expectations of the public.
Stressing that her weight slowly became less about her health, and more about how she is perceived, Khloe maintained that she hated the fact that her appearance kept getting more attention than it should.
The reality star concluded by saying that losing weight recently made her a traitor to the bigger community, but people need to realize that she remains the same person regardless.
“I felt like, ‘Well, I can’t get fat again because everyone’s waiting for it.’ It became less about health and more about managing perception.
Once I got older, I realized — this is gross. I hated that I was getting more attention because I looked a certain way.
When I lost weight, suddenly I was ‘a traitor to the bigger community.’ People said I wasn’t funny anymore or wasn’t myself. I’m still me. I just happen to look different — or a lot different, depending on who you ask,” she added.
