President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Zamfara State Governor, Dr Dauda Lawal, as he marks his birthday on September 2, 2026.
In a congratulatory message, President Tinubu described Lawal as a “Renaissance governor,” commending his efforts to transform Zamfara through infrastructure development, urban renewal and industrialisation.
The President also praised the governor for extending his administration’s focus beyond physical infrastructure to other critical sectors, particularly education and healthcare.
According to Tinubu, Governor Lawal’s administration has rehabilitated more than 800 schools, recruited over 2,000 teachers, upgraded healthcare facilities and supplied medical equipment and other essential medical materials across the state.
The President noted that the governor’s approach to governance, which covers multiple sectors, aligns with the need for comprehensive development and greater investment in human capital.
Tinubu joined Governor Lawal’s family, friends and the people of Zamfara State in celebrating the occasion, wishing him good health, renewed strength and continued success in his service to the state and Nigeria.
