Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, has reacted to reports saying she is pregnant 5 years after her husband’s death.
Recall that Kobe and the couple’s daughter, Gigi, died along with 7 others in a tragic helicopter crash in January 2020.
Years after the tragic passing of her husband, unconfirmed reports surfaced online saying Vanessa is pregnant with her 5th child.
Responding, Vanessa simply posted several Instagram stories, including one of Rihanna holding a drink in one hand alongside this caption, “Me protecting my peace, not pregnant & having fun all summer.”
She also shared a 2nd picture of Riri captioned “I’m not mean I’m the one.”
Vanessa finally shared a post about how to impress her, which was also re-shared from another account.
“The only way to impress me, is by being a good person.
I don’t care what you have, what you wear, where you live, or what you drive. I just have deep respect for people with pure hearts and good intentions,” it read.
Meanwhile, Vanessa Bryant was recently awarded $1.5 million in attorney’s fees following a legal battle with the former president of Kobe Inc. over her late husband’s investment in the sports drink company, BodyArmor.
The battle all started back in 2019, six months before Kobe’s death, when Molly Carter, the president of Kobe Inc., claimed the late basketball legend promised her a cut of the earnings he received from his BodyArmor investment.
After his demise, Molly filed a lawsuit, but Vanessa immediately made a counterclaim, accusing her of violating the duty of loyalty and non-disparagement clause she signed as part of her employment contract.
Vanessa eventually emerged victorious in the original lawsuit and her counterclaim after the case was taken to arbitration, and she won $1.5 million in attorney’s fees.
