General Overseer of God First Ministry popularly known as Illumination assembly, Archbishop Designate Isaac Idahosa has encouraged widows and widowers to find love again, by allowing themselves heal from the unfortunate and untimely hurt they suffered from losing their spouses to death.
In a conversation with Apples Bite International Magazine, after his charity ball convened July 11, to provide palliative for widows and widowers as a result of the economic hardship of Covid-19.
Bishop Idahosa noted that it will take a lot of re-orientation for these healing to happen, especially for those who have allowed themselves to get used to navigating life alone and have lost their spouses for more than 10 years.
“...Some have even vowed never to re-marry, because, they thought no one could love and accept them like their late spouses did. However, after the dark night, comes a bright morning.
“Although, it would require thorough counselling procedures, but these widows and widowers must consider seeing light in a new relationship, and these would only happen if they allow themselves heal from the hurt of the past,” he submitted.
