Popular Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has finally revealed his daughter’s name.
This is coming one day after he stepped out with his baby girl at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, an event that was her first public appearance.
The famous singer stunned his fans when he appeared with his 6-month-old daughter and her mum, Jada Pollock, at the festival for the premiere of his documentary, “Wizkid: Long Live Lagos.”
Father and daughter looked superb together in matching white outfits, and Jada wasn’t left out with her dazzling pink-and-white tie-dye dress that matched her sunglasses.
Speaking via his X account, Wizkid gladdened the hearts of his fans further by revealing the name of his youngest child.
He simply tweeted that his baby girl has been named “Morayo Balogun” to honour his late mother, who died recently.
Recall that reports of the birth of Wizkid’s youngest daughter with Jada first surfaced in January when the singer confirmed the news on social media.
Wizkid and Jada welcomed Zion Ayo-Balogun, their first child, in 2017, and 5 years later, in October 2022, Jada announced the birth of their second child.
The “Ojuelegba” crooner and Jada’s relationship has been very rocky over the years. 2 years ago, both parties hinted at a separation after Wizkid revealed that he was single and prepared to find love again. His comment angered Pollock, and it led to her blasting the musician for taking their issues to the internet.
Jada appeared to confirm a fresh split this year after unfollowing the singer on Instagram, but there has been no confirmation that the couple are no longer together.
Fans of the power couple will have to wait and see if his appearance alongside Jada at the Tribeca Festival is a sign that they are an item again.
