President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Super Eagles on their emphatic 4-0 victory over the Cheetahs of the Benin Republic. He recently hailed the team for keeping the nation’s hope alive as they pursue qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Praising the players for their passion and determination throughout the clash in Uyo, he revealed that the impressive display has reignited Nigerians’ football pride.
According to him, even though the job to qualify for the World Cup is not yet complete, the mood across Nigeria was lifted with such a spirited performance.
BAT wished the Super Eagles a successful outing in the playoffs as runner-ups battle for a spot at the prestigious tournament.
