2027: Fubara Absent As APC Screens 14 Governors, Tinubu’s Presidential Challenger

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has concluded the screening of 14 serving governors and a prominent presidential aspirant ahead of the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections, with the noticeable absence of Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, sparking fresh political speculation.

The screening exercise, which took place at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, was part of the party’s internal process aimed at positioning candidates and consolidating support structures ahead of upcoming political contests.
