Edo leaders have thrown their support behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Monday Okpebholo, asserting that he embodies the collective aspirations of the Edo people. Under the banner of the Edo State Political Leaders Forum (EDPLF), these leaders met in Auchi, Edo North Senatorial District, highlighting Okpebholo’s integrity and principles.
The forum emphasized Okpebholo’s unique qualities, such as vision, courage, character, loyalty, and sincerity, positioning him as the ideal candidate to lead Edo State towards a prosperous future. They outlined his plans for unity, security, infrastructure development, and economic growth, praising his commitment to fast-tracking development, creating jobs, and improving the overall well-being of Edo residents.
The EDPLF called on Edo indigenes, both at home and abroad, to reject the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), which they blamed for the state’s challenges. They are building alliances and engaging with various stakeholders to ensure Okpebholo’s victory in the September governorship election.
