Caltop Publications Nigeria Limited has announced the official launch and public presentation of 3 new books authored by former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Reuben Abati. Scheduled to happen on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) in Victoria Island, Lagos, the event will unveil the following titles: “How Goodluck Jonathan Became President,” “Portraits: People, Politics and Society,” and “A Love Letter & Other Stories.”
All 3 books are an extension of Reuben Abati’s familiar depth and poise, combining political analysis, societal commentary, and compelling storytelling perfectly.
All titles provide a key contribution to national discourse, leadership and the detailed knowledge of Nigeria’s political history and social evolution.
According to the Managing Director of Caltop Publications, Ayo Arowosegbe, publishing the book is such a massive honour for his company because they help to educate Nigerians about the country and the world at large.
Describing it as relevant to the Nigeria of today, he noted that Abati’s books will serve as an important reference for policymakers and academics for many years to come.
“Compelling, insightful, and relevant for our times. These works will serve as vital references for policymakers, media professionals, academics, students, and the public seeking informed perspectives on Nigeria and the world at large,” he said.
The books’ public presentation is set to attract dignitaries from the public and private sectors, academia, the media, and the literary community, in celebration of the former special adviser’s applaudable impact on journalism and civic engagement.
Coincidentally, the event would go down on his 60th birthday, which is more reason to celebrate a media guru who keeps doing everything within his power to aid national development.
