Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew has said he is prepared to defend himself in court over the controversy surrounding the alleged Presidential Economic Advisory Council, insisting that only the judiciary has the authority to determine the validity of the allegations against him.
Speaking during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Adeyemi stated that he has no fear of legal proceedings and is willing to accept whatever judgment the court delivers after reviewing the facts of the case.
He stressed that the dispute should be resolved through the legal system rather than public debates or speculation.
“If I’m wrong, let the court of law do that, and if I’m right, let the court of law do the right thing,” Adeyemi said.
According to him, the court remains the appropriate platform for establishing the truth, adding that he is confident the judicial process will provide a fair and impartial outcome.
The controversy over the alleged Presidential Economic Advisory Council has continued to attract public attention, with many Nigerians calling for a comprehensive legal determination of the matter.
