The Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (AERMP) appointed Dr. Babatunde Onadeko Chairman of its Public Sector Committee during its 2024 Year-End Conference and New Members Induction ceremony, which was held on Saturday, December 14th, in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Dr. Onadeko currently serves as Chief of Staff to Distinguished Senator Otunba Engr. Gbenga Daniel brings extensive professional expertise to the role. A Fellow of the AERMP with multiple professional certifications, he expressed commitment to contributing his substantial experience to the committee’s objectives during a brief acceptance speech.
The prestigious event was attended by several notable figures in the Nigerian professional landscape, including AERMP President Mrs. S. Taiwo Ige, AERMP Director General Olayinka Odutola, and distinguished guests such as CIBN President Prof. Deji Olanrewaju and Chartered Institute of Directors President Alh. Tijanni Borodo.
Highlights of the event included the inauguration of Mrs. Folasade Femi-Lawal as the leader of the Women in Risk Management initiative and a keynote address by Dr. Ayotunde Coker, CEO of Open Access Data Centres.
In his acceptance remarks, Dr. Onadeko pledged to work collaboratively with committee members to achieve the organization’s strategic goals and further advance enterprise risk management practices in the public sector.
