Veteran Nigerian entertainer Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy or Area Fada, has celebrated the engagement of his daughter, Adaeze, to her female partner.
The 76-year-old entertainer shared a video from the engagement ceremony on Instagram on Thursday, asking his followers to celebrate the couple and wish them well.
“My beautiful Princess and her Husband. Folks, wish dem well for me,” Charly Boy wrote alongside the video.
Adaeze also confirmed the engagement on her Instagram page, posting a photograph of herself with her partner and announcing, “WE’RE ENGAGED!”
She used the hashtag #MrsAndMrs and expressed excitement about building a future together.
“Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, growth, and making beautiful memories together. I can’t wait for everything God has in store for us. Forever sounds even sweeter with you,” she wrote.
The announcement has since attracted reactions on social media, with users sharing different opinions about the engagement.
