A physical confrontation recently occurred between popular socialite Cubana Chief Priest and music executive Ubi Franklin.
The serious altercation was reported to have happened at a high-profile event held at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja on Thursday.
Reports have said that the fight was so feisty that both public figures had to be separated from each other when the back and forth got really heated.
According to insiders, while Cubana Chief Priest insisted that he didn’t want Ubi anywhere close to Afrobeats superstar Davido, Franklin still tried to converse with the singer.
Another report alleged that Ubi Franklin is simply doing everything possible to get an invite to Chioma and Davido’s upcoming wedding in the United States, and Cubana doesn’t want him to attend.
What the actual issue was is still a mystery at the moment, but we expect both outspoken public figures to shed some light on the reason for their spat very soon.
Recall that Ubi Franklin recently came out to narrate how Davido asked him to manage Chioma Rowland years ago.
The talent manager said that his friendship with the singer started from that moment, and he has been a fan of the couple ever since.

In my worst periods, one person that always picks up my calls is Davido. He’d always call me and yab me to always make sure that I laugh or something. Great guy.
He never judged me.
In 2018, he called me and said you know what I want you to manage Chioma. And that was it and we’ve been friends like that. We’ve been family.
