The Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of petrol and diesel, cutting the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) by ₦100 per litre.
According to the refinery’s latest pricing template released on March 10, 2026, the gantry price of petrol has dropped from ₦1,175 to ₦1,075 per litre.
The refinery also disclosed that PMS meant for coastal supply will now sell at ₦1,050 per litre. The slight price difference reflects adjustments related to maritime distribution costs.
In the same update, the price of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) was reduced to ₦1,430 per litre at the gantry, representing a ₦190 decrease from the previous price of ₦1,620 per litre.
However, the refinery clarified that the gantry prices do not include statutory charges imposed by the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA).
