Nigerian billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has sparked reactions on social media following speculation about a possible strain in his marriage to his wife, Nana Otedola.
The rumours gained traction after online users noticed that the couple were no longer following each other on social media platforms. Screenshots circulating online appeared to support the claim, prompting widespread discussion about the state of their relationship.
Further fueling the speculation was Otedola’s recent Mother’s Day post. Instead of publicly celebrating his wife, the billionaire chose to honour his daughters and his own mother. While some observers dismissed the move as harmless, others interpreted it as a potential sign of tension.
Amid the growing buzz, Otedola appeared to address the situation indirectly. He shared a video on Instagram showing himself on vacation in the Maldives, where he was seen riding a bicycle under the sun, looking relaxed.
The post was accompanied by a short caption: “Out of office, on this sunny Monday in the Maldives. Happiness is free… F.Ote.” The message, though brief, has been widely interpreted as a calm response to the ongoing speculation.
The video has since attracted mixed reactions online, with some users praising his laid-back demeanor while others continued to speculate about his personal life.
In a related development, his daughter, Florence Otedola, recently shared her fitness goals on social media, noting that she intends to remain consistent with gym routines, drawing reactions from her followers.
