FilmOne Studios has announced the theatrical debut of its first original feature film, “Adire.”
The film tells the story of a young female fashion entrepreneur with a dark past as a sex worker and her struggles to deal with its consequences.
The film, solely created and written by Jack’enneth Opukeme, will be released in cinemas nationwide on November 3, 2023.

It features a star-studded cast including Kehinde Bankole, Femi Branch, Kelechi Udegbe, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Ibrahim Chatta, Yemi Blaq, Yvonne Jegede, and others.
“Adire” had its first screening at Fame Week Africa in Cape Town, South Africa, on September 2, 2023.
