Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has expressed his condolences to the family of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder and president of Christ Embassy, over the death of his mother, Mrs. Angelina Oyakhilome, at the age of 88.
Governor Okpebholo described the passing of the octogenarian as a painful loss to the Oyakhilome family, the Christian community and those who knew her during her lifetime.
In a condolence message, the governor commiserated with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, his siblings and other members of the family, urging them to remain strong and find comfort in the legacy their mother left behind.
He acknowledged Mrs. Oyakhilome’s role in raising her children and supporting the family, noting that her life had made an impact beyond her immediate household.
The governor also prayed for God to grant the family the strength to cope with the loss and give the deceased eternal rest.
Mrs. Angelina Oyakhilome was the mother of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, one of Nigeria’s prominent Christian ministers and the founder of Christ Embassy, also known as LoveWorld Incorporated.
Her death has prompted condolences from members of the church, Christian leaders, friends and well-wishers who have expressed sympathy with the Oyakhilome family.
Governor Okpebholo urged the bereaved family to take solace in the memories of the deceased and the values she imparted to her children and those around her.
