The Amuwo Odofin federal constituency aspirant, Hon. Ayo Da-Silva, has extended warm Sallah greetings to Muslims across Nigeria as they mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a goodwill message released through the DaSilva Campaign Organization (DCO), the politician conveyed heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim faithful, praying that the occasion brings peace, joy, good health, and countless blessings to all observers of the holy festival.
Eid-el-Kabir, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to God’s command, and remains one of the most significant celebrations in the Islamic calendar.
Hon. Da-Silva, who is positioning himself as a strong voice for the people of Amuwo Odofin, used the occasion to reaffirm his commitment to the unity and welfare of all residents in the constituency, regardless of religious affiliation.
The Sallah message, which was accompanied by a campaign visual bearing his image in traditional Yoruba attire, reflects the grassroots outreach strategy of the Da-Silva Campaign Organization as it continues to build momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Muslims in Nigeria and around the world are today observing the Eid-el-Kabir prayers and festivities with the traditional slaughter of rams and acts of charity to the less privileged.
