Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former executive assistant, George Kaplan, has said that he did not intervene during Diddy’s violent incidents with his exes because he wanted to save his career.
He recently acknowledged that he was fully aware of Combs’ long-term relationships with Cassie, Gina and Kim Porter.
Giving his testimony in the ongoing federal s*x trafficking and racketeering trial against the music executive in New York City, George disclosed that he once heard glass shatter during an altercation between Diddy and Cassie, while they were all on a private flight to Las Vegas.
He revealed that Diddy later asked him to buy creams for Cassie’s face after their argument, an errand he funded with a corporate credit card.
According to George, he also witnessed the rapper throwing green apples angrily at Gina in his Miami mansion, before he eventually felt compelled to resign in 2015, despite being grateful to the business mogul for the opportunity to serve back then.
He shared that witnessing those incidents and not being able to do anything was a mental struggle for him, and the fact that Diddy kept using him to fix the situation made the entire working relationship with Sean Combs a troubling one.
In an earlier testimony shared on May 21, George broke down his duties while working for Diddy between 2013 and 2015. George said that he was tasked with booking hotel rooms under aliases in different cities, and he was even told to prepare the rooms with items like baby oil and candles from time to time.
The trial is set to continue with more high-profile testimonies. Popular rapper Kid Cudi, who had a past relationship with Cassie, is set to take the stand next.
