The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has removed Benjamin Hundeyin from his position as the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO).
Details surrounding the decision were still emerging at the time of filing this report. However, sources within the police hierarchy confirmed that the development is part of an ongoing restructuring within the Force.
Hundeyin, who has served as the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, became widely known for his active engagement with the public and media, particularly on social media platforms.
The police authorities are yet to officially announce his replacement or provide further clarification on the reasons behind the change.
