Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Oba Saheed Elegushi, Kusenla III, the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, on the milestone of his 15th coronation anniversary.
In a statement released Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised the monarch’s leadership, which has fostered peace and development throughout the kingdom.
“On behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, and family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I congratulate the Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, on his 15th coronation anniversary,” said Sanwo-Olu.
The Governor described Oba Elegushi as a “visionary and vibrant monarch” who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities through his commitment and selfless service to his community.
Sanwo-Olu particularly commended the monarch’s development initiatives, noting that residents of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom are fortunate to have such a dedicated ruler. Under Oba Elegushi’s 15-year reign, the kingdom has transformed into a prime destination for real estate development, entertainment, leisure, and hospitality.
“I pray that God will continue to bestow on him good health, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for a continuous reign of peace and prosperity in Ikate-Elegushi,” the Governor added, wishing the 21st Elegushi many more fruitful years on the throne of his forefathers.
