Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos has revealed the ‘Perfect Lagos Selfies,‘ a captivating project featuring Slack-liner and Red Bull Athlete Jaan Roose. In an innovative display of skill, Roose walked on a rope from Sterling Towers to the Onome Rig.
According to The Nation, the Lagos Safety Commission collaborated with Red Bull on this initiative, aiming to showcase the beauty of the state under the title ‘Perfect Lagos Selfie.’
Governor Sanwo-Olu shared images from the collaboration on his X page last Saturday. The caption celebrated Jaan Roose, the Guinness World Record holder, for capturing the perfect Lagos selfie while traversing the skyline from Sterling Towers to the Onome Rig.
Sanwo-Olu praised Roose’s expertise in slack-lining, combining balance training, recreation, and moving meditation to beautifully showcase the vibrant spirit of the city. The governor acknowledged the admirable feat of capturing the city’s skyline against the backdrop of the Blue Line Rail.
Highlighting the collaboration with the Lagos Safety Commission, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the project underscores the splendor of Lagos State.
