Former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has officially announced his return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Making the announcement during a press conference at his Ikeja campaign office on Monday, Jandor stated that he believes the APC is “the best alternative to deliver good governance to Lagosians and Nigerians.” He revealed that his decision followed extensive consultations with political supporters and associates throughout Lagos State.
The political move comes shortly after Jandor held highly publicized meetings with key political figures, including President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Jandor had previously contested the 2023 Lagos gubernatorial election as the PDP’s candidate.
