Hagler Sunny Okorie Ph.D is a Professor of Law, Fellow Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (FCArb), Fellow Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (FICMC), Notary Public and Justice of the Peace.
He teaches law in the Faculty of Law, Abia State University as well as in Imo State University, Owerri. In the course of his teaching career in Abia State University, he held various offices as follows: Head of Department of Jurisprudence, Public and International Law (JIPL), Coordinator Postgraduate Studies in the Faculty of Law and Acting Dean, Students Affairs, Abia State University, Uturu.
Presently, he is the Head of Department, Private and Property Law (PPL) at the Faculty of Law, Abia State University. He has been teaching law in both undergraduate and post-graduate classes for so many years.
In the course of his teaching, research and development, he attended various international trainings and courses as follows: All Africa Course held at Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, South Africa, Advanced Training Course for University Teachers held at Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, Geneva, Switzerland and Professionals in Humanitarianism in Brussels as well as in San Remo, Italy.
