The nominated categories will recognise leaders who have transformed Africa’s maritime sector and contributed to economic growth through shipping, ports, and marine services, while also celebrating innovators and executives who have made significant contributions to Africa’s energy sector through oil and gas initiatives. The awards will honour athletes, coaches, and sports administrators who have elevated African sports on the global stage, alongside acknowledging political leaders and business moguls who have driven positive change and economic development through governance and business excellence.
“These four industries represent the backbone of Africa’s development journey,” Ifetayo noted. “By celebrating excellence in these sectors, we aim to inspire the next generation of leaders and innovators across the continent.”
