Leke Adeboye, the son of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has been honored with an honorary doctorate in humanitarian and engineering science by the University of Civil Engineering and Management. He shared the exciting news on his Instagram account, along with photos from the university’s convocation ceremony. Expressing his gratitude, Leke mentioned, “It is not by one’s will or effort, but by the mercy of God.”
He continued, “I’m immensely thankful to God for being bestowed with an honorary doctorate degree in Humanitarian and Engineering Science by the University of Civil Engineering and Management. This is undoubtedly the work of the Lord, and with His grace, we will continue to serve the kingdom faithfully.” Leke also expressed his appreciation to his wife, parents, and pastors for their significant contributions to his life.
