Renowned cinematic maestro and Nollywood luminary, Amb. Chief (Dr.) Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, continues to make history as he adds another feather to his cap. After the resounding success of his International Student Film Festival (ISFF) at Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, Imasuen has now been bestowed with a doctoral degree by the Corporate Institute of Strategic Research (CISR) in Abuja, Nigeria.
The recognition, conferred in collaboration with the Global Centre for Advanced Strategic Research in the United Kingdom, took place at the Amatu Braide Hall, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The honor was presented during the culmination of a three-day program on Strategic Research themed “Strategic Agility and Innovation in the Digital Age.”
Dr. Lancelot Imasuen, whose artistic contributions have earned global acclaim, becomes the first-ever living or deceased Nollywood practitioner to receive such a prestigious professional degree from the Abuja-based Research Institute.
