Ogun East Senator, and Former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has called on Nigerians to embrace unity and compassion in his Easter message released today.
“This blessed season of Easter offers us another beautiful opportunity to reflect on the enduring message of love, sacrifice, and renewal,” said Daniel in his statement. “It is a time that reminds us all of the triumph of hope over despair, of light over darkness, and of unity over division.”
In his message, the Senator emphasized that the Easter season serves as a reminder of “God’s abundant love which is represented in the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross as a message of hope and salvation.”
Daniel urged citizens to “draw closer in unity and compassion” following Christ’s teachings by “supporting one another and reaching out to those in need” to build a stronger nation, a more prosperous Ogun State, and a happier Ogun East Senatorial District.
The statement also announced the 2025 edition of the Choir Festival, scheduled for Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Abraham’s Tabernacle in GRA, Sagamu. The festival aims to bring together choirs from various locations for “divine inspiration, spiritual upliftment, and cultural celebration through music.”
Daniel, who serves as the Asiwaju of Remo Christians, concluded his message with prayers for peace, joy, and God’s abundant blessings in every home during the Easter celebration.
