Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Mary Njoku, has shared a deeply reflective message to get her followers thinking.
Mary recently revealed that every breathing human being must constantly think about why they are still alive.
Speaking via her Instagram page, Mary believes there must be a reason why we still get the chance to breathe, while several others who were better, kinder and more faithful have left this world.
According to her, even if many Nigerians prefer to attribute their being alive to God loving them, they should not forget that God didn’t hate those who have died.
“Why are YOU still here, while so many others—some better, kinder, more faithful—are gone?
Yes, grace is real. Yes, God loves you. But He loved them too,” she wrote.
Mary is of the opinion that even concluding that God keeps His people alive to win souls for Him is very flawed, since some soul winners who were far better at evangelism are no longer breathing today.
She simply urged everyone to take some time to reflect on what they get to see another day for, stressing that while we do not know when exactly, we will all die eventually.
“Is this what I was given another day, another breath, for?
We’re all going to die. And none of us knows when. So take a deep breath… and ask yourself today: WHY am I still BREATHING?” she added.
