Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, has praised President Bola Tinubu for his life-changing reforms. He recently revealed that BAT deserves praise for getting rid of economic hurdles hindering Nigeria’s growth.
Representing President Bola Tinubu at the Bauchi Investment summit in Bauchi, Shettima disclosed that the Federal Government is working on guaranteeing an enabling environment to aid investors in the country.
According to him, the increased fiscal allocation to Nigerian states is necessary because any challenge faced by one state automatically affects the nation as a whole.
Emphasising the need for collective unity, the VP stressed that growth is only possible when the entire nation is united.
“The Federal Government has fixed each state as its priority, beyond the increased fiscal allocation that is accrued, of which the states are now enjoying.
This is because any affliction to any state slows down the growth and development in other parts of the nation. We must grow together as a nation,” he said.
Shettima further noted that Tinubu will keep working hard towards removing any obstacle in the way of Nigeria’s progress.
He concluded by saying that BAT won’t stop until Nigeria becomes a peaceful, stable and prosperous country.
“Tinubu has removed termites from the Nation’s timber of progress, saying that growth and development of a nation cannot be guaranteed without peace and stability.
Successive governments have always been confronted with push back while initiating reforms,” he added.
