Amaju Pinnick, the organizer of the annual ‘Warri Again Concert,’ is preparing to take legal action against singer David Adeleke, also known as Davido, for breach of contract. This comes despite Davido receiving a full payment of $94,600 to perform at this year’s concert. Additionally, an EAS private jet, worth $18,000, was booked for the singer by the organizers, but he never showed up.

In a statement issued on behalf of Amaju Pinnick by Victor Wokocha, the Project Director of Brownhill Events Inc., who are the organizers of the Warri Again concert, it was revealed that their legal team has been briefed on the matter, and they are awaiting advice on the next steps to take.

Pinnick accused Davido of failing to fulfill his commitment to the show, which took place last Friday, despite receiving the full payment. Wokocha, in the statement, expressed disappointment in Davido’s failure to perform at the concert, despite all the financial arrangements and logistical support provided.

Wokocha pledged that the organizers would explore all available legal avenues to ensure that Davido refunds the money he was paid for the event. The statement highlighted the success of the 19th edition of the Warri Again Concert and their commitment to improving future editions.

Davido had previously confidently stated that no one could prevent him from performing anywhere in Nigeria and assured his fans in Warri that he would be visiting their city soon.
