Nyesom Wike, the Minister overseeing the Federal Capital Territory, has named Alhaji Sani Musa Daura as his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol Matters following Daura’s upcoming retirement from civil service.
According to a Wednesday statement from the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Daura brings more than three decades of expertise from his time in the FCTA Protocol Department.
Daura has served as Director of Protocol for the FCT since 2019 and is scheduled to retire on January 24, 2026. His new appointment becomes effective immediately upon his departure from the civil service, the statement confirmed.
