Popular oil marketing company Sixxco Oil Ltd has commenced direct receipt of petroleum products from the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical Company Ltd under its Direct Delivery Scheme. The 1st batch of fuel trucks from the refinery arrived on the 30th of September, signalling the start of a collaboration that will boost supply chain efficiency and guarantee a consistent and competitive supply of petroleum products.
Recall that Sixxco Oil Ltd was recently appointed as a “Strategic Partner” of Dangote Refinery for self-collection and direct fuel delivery.
Speaking via a press statement, the Chief Executive Officer of Sixxco Oil Ltd, Hubert Ngoka, said that the deal allows the company to receive Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) straight from Dangote Refinery for immediate distribution to its affiliate filling stations and customers across Rivers State.
“This strategic partnership will enable Sixxco Oil Ltd to supply fuel directly to its filling stations in Rivers State and affiliate outlets such as Wise Star, Atlantic Affairs, Allteq, Stanok Opak, and others,” Hubert wrote.
He further noted that the partnership will give Sixxco’s stations a competitive edge by stabilising pump prices and ensuring products are never unavailable.
He concluded by saying that as Dangote Refinery expands its coverage across Nigeria, the partnership will most likely positively reshape Nigeria’s fuel distribution landscape.
“With direct deliveries from the Dangote Refinery’s state-of-the-art facility to Sixxco Oil Ltd’s extensive network of filling stations, consumers in Rivers State and beyond will benefit from a more reliable supply of petroleum products at competitive prices,” he added.
