MultiChoice has announced a price increase for all DStv and GOtv packages, effective March 1, 2025. The company informed customers of this change in a statement released on Monday.
In the notice titled “Price adjustments for DStv and GOtv packages,” MultiChoice explained: “This is to enable us to continue to offer our customers world-class homegrown and international content, delivered through the best technology.”
This price adjustment comes approximately one year after the previous review. Under the new pricing structure, the DStv Compact bouquet will increase from N15,700 to N19,000, Compact Plus will rise to N30,000, and Premium subscriptions will reach N44,500.
GOtv customers will also experience price hikes, with the basic package increasing from N3,600 to N3,900, GOtv Plus from N4,850 to N5,800, GOtv Max rising to N8,500, Supa to N11,400, and Supa Plus to N16,800.
MultiChoice attributed the increases to rising business costs in Nigeria, citing significant currency depreciation and high inflation that have substantially increased operational expenses.
