Melody 107.7 FM marked its first anniversary with a grand celebration that brought together notable personalities from various sectors. The event highlighted the radio station’s commitment to community development and entertainment.
The event, held in Oyewole, Agege, Lagos, was attended by a distinguished gathering including government officials, traditional rulers, and prominent entertainment personalities. Key dignitaries present included Assistant Commandant of Corps Ibrahim Omideyi, Mr. Adedotun Keshinro representing the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Lagos State Command, and SC Oluwaseun Abolurin, the Public Relations Officer.
The celebration was graced by an impressive lineup of entertainment stars, including renowned musicians Shefiu Alao (popularly known as Baba Oko), Wasiu Alabi (Pasuma Wonder), and Mega 99, among others. Prophet Samuel Ojo, the Chairman of Melody FM, was also in attendance.
A highlight of the event was the station’s community-focused initiatives. The radio station demonstrated its social responsibility by presenting a car to a veteran radio personality and providing giveaways to startups. In a particularly impactful gesture, Melody FM sponsored Ordinary Level examination fees for students and admission seekers, underscoring its commitment to educational support.
Mr. Ayo Ologun, the General Manager of Melody FM, expressed pride in the station’s first-year achievements and its continued mission to serve the community through informative and entertaining programming.
The anniversary celebration not only showcased the station’s entertainment prowess but also its dedication to community development and empowerment.
