The All Progressives Congress has announced a change in the venue and time of its National Executive Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2025.
The meeting, which was previously scheduled to be held at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, will now take place at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa at 2 pm.
Speaking via a press statement, National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, declared that the change happened due to logistical reasons.
“The change of venue from the party’s National Secretariat – 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja to the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja is due to logistical reasons,” he said.
Reports have said that the timing of this NEC session is vital, with APC set to endorse a successor to former national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, who resigned in June citing health issues.
His resignation created a leadership vacuum and insiders have suggested that acting chairman, Ali Bukar Dalori, might have to continue in his role until a formal elective convention is convened.
The NEC will also address updates from the Constitution Review Committee and e‑registration efforts ahead of the 2027 polls.
