The National Sports Commission Director-General, Bukola Olopade, has said that all outstanding payments for the Super Falcons were settled before their final match against Morocco.
She recently revealed that all bonuses have been fully settled, and Nigerians have been reacting.
Speaking during an appearance on Arise TV, Bukola shared that after her latest discussion with Rasheedat Ajibade and the NFF, everyone is in agreement that the outstanding payments have been made.
“I can confirm authoritatively that all their bonuses have been paid, I spoke with Ajibade yesterday and with the NFF and everybody is on the same page,” he said.
Olopade, however, stated that one or two players might not have collected their bonuses due to bank problems with the Central Bank of Nigeria.
He further noted that as far as the President’s promises are concerned, the players will surely get their reward.
Bukola concluded by saying that the NSC is presently working with the Minister of Works and Housing to make sure the team receives their houses as promised.
“On the promise of Mr. President, I can assure you that it will be paid,” he added.
