National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has warned critics of the Tinubu government against underestimating the President’s ability to transform Nigeria.
He recently revealed that the politicians criticizing BAT are expired political actors who failed in office.
Speaking at the National Cybersecurity Conference 2025 held in Abuja, Ribadu shared that Nigeria is safer and stable under Tinubu, and his strategic reforms have been making Nigeria increasingly attractive for investment.
According to him, the recurring criticisms from specific quarters are nothing but expected ranting from outdated politicians who feel entitled to political positions.
He stated that their attacks will not hold water in 2027 because Nigerians are more discerning and would not be easily deceived by propaganda.
“Things are changing. We are stabilising the country. Forget what some people are saying — Nigeria is safer and better every single day,” he said.
He further noted that security has improved across the Niger Delta and the South-East, stressing that a mixture of proactive measures and collaborative efforts with security agencies is currently yielding tangible results.
He described President Tinubu as a digital and visionary leader whose government is charting a clear path for economic recovery and national rebirth.
Ribadu concluded by saying that anyone underestimating Tinubu ahead of 2027 would be doing so at his or her own peril.
“Niger Delta is safer than ever before. The South-East is returning to normalcy. Those fueling unrest from abroad will be tracked and prosecuted. We will not allow external forces to destabilize our progress.
We have quality leadership today in our country. Mr. President is a digital President. He is educated and deeply informed. People who underestimate him are doing so at their own peril.
These are people who looted and plundered this country. Now they are shouting on television. They are outdated. Nigeria has moved on — and Nigerians are wiser,” he added.
