Popular disc jockey and philanthropist DJ Cuppy has addressed women who fail to have an identity outside of their relationships.
She recently shared that more women need to reach the point where their sense of value is not tied to having a partner.
Speaking via a viral clip circulating online, Cuppy expressed how proud she is to know that most of her accomplishments in life have nothing to do with a man.
Sharing that Isaiah 54:5 is to thank for keeping her grounded, she noted that since God is the one who created any perfect partner she could possibly hope for, her focus should be on Him.
According to her, it does not matter who a woman envisions her life partner to be, as long as God remains the Creator of every human being, we should never put anyone before Him.
“I’m probably not the only woman in this situation. A lot of my wins and value right now are not necessarily with or from a partner.”
