Burna Boy’s mother Bose Ogulu surprised her son with a memorable gift on his 34th birthday.
The Grammy-winning singer was treated to a special live performance by Fuji singer Adewale Ayuba at his birthday dinner held in Lagos.
In a clip shared online, Burna Boy was stunned to see the veteran singer walk in to perform for him on his special day, and he welcomed the Fuji icon with a warm embrace.
The “On The Low” crooner was in the company of family members and close friends at the private celebration organised by his mother, who also works as his manager.
Fans and well-wishers have since stormed social media with birthday messages for the self-proclaimed African Giant.
“Happy birthday once again to Burna Boy,” a particular fan wrote alongside a clip of Ayuba performing at the event.
Adewale Ayuba, who clocked 60 in March, is recognized as one of the pioneers of modern Fuji music, and his efforts in the Nigerian music industry recently earned him an honour from President Bola Tinubu alongside other veterans in the creative sector.
Burna Boy’s birthday celebration is coming months after he made history as the first African artist to sell out the 80,000-capacity London Stadium for the second time.
