The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has expressed gratitude to residents and stakeholders for their positive feedback on the agency’s recent performance and operations.
In a statement, LASTMA said the commendations received have provided valuable insights into areas needing improvement while also serving as motivation for its officers. The agency acknowledged previous shortcomings and restated its commitment to delivering professional traffic management services that align with international standards.
LASTMA thanked Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Special Adviser on Transportation, and the Ministry of Transportation leadership for their policy direction and support. The agency also praised its officers for their dedication in maintaining traffic order across Lagos, often working under challenging conditions.
The traffic management body commended Lagosians for their cooperation during the December period and the Ember months, noting that public compliance significantly improved traffic flow during the busy festive season.
LASTMA assured residents that it remains committed to providing efficient and responsive traffic management services across the state.
