General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has paid a heartfelt tribute to his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, as she marked her 78th birthday, praising her unwavering support and describing her as a blessing to their family and ministry.
In a birthday message titled “To My Lover, Foluke,” shared on his X account, the 84-year-old cleric reflected on their 58-year marriage, expressing deep appreciation for her steadfast companionship and commitment throughout their journey together.
Adeboye said celebrating his wife’s birthday was another opportunity to publicly honour the woman who has stood faithfully by his side for nearly six decades.
He wrote that their shared walk in life and ministry had made every challenge easier to bear, adding that their unity had remained a source of strength over the years.
According to him, although millions of RCCG members affectionately know her as “Mummy G.O.,” he is privileged to know her as his wife, closest friend and trusted confidante.
The revered cleric commended her sacrifices, compassion and dedication, noting that her love has positively impacted their children, the church and countless families across the world.
“Our children have been blessed because of your love. The family of God has been blessed because of your devotion,” he wrote, acknowledging her invaluable role in nurturing both their family and the church.
Reflecting on their life together, Adeboye thanked God for preserving her life and prayed for continued strength, peace, good health and greater fruitfulness in the years ahead.
He said that after spending 58 of her 78 years together, he continues to find fresh reasons to thank God for the gift of her life.
Offering his birthday prayers, the RCCG leader asked God to continue sustaining her, renewing her strength, filling her life with joy and allowing her to witness even greater manifestations of His goodness.
He concluded his message by thanking her for walking hand in hand with him throughout their marriage and wished her a happy 78th birthday.
Pastor Enoch and Pastor Foluke Adeboye got married in 1967 and are blessed with four children.
