A former staff member of Ogun State Television (OGTV), Mrs Kitan Oyesiku, fondly known as “Aunty Kitan,” has been killed by unidentified assailants at her home in Kobape, Ogun State.
The attack reportedly happened in the early hours of Sunday when the assailants broke into her residence and carried out the killing, leaving family members, neighbours, and colleagues in shock.
The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, and no motive has yet been established. Security agencies are expected to launch investigations to identify those behind the attack.
Oyesiku was a well-known figure in Ogun State’s media community, having spent years at OGTV before her retirement. Her death has drawn an outpouring of grief from former colleagues, friends, and residents across the state.
