A juju musician, Omoba De Jombo, and his crew members have reportedly regained their freedom four days after they were allegedly kidnapped in Abuja.
The band members had performed in the Federal Capital Territory and were reportedly travelling to Kogi State for another performance when they were allegedly kidnapped last weekend.
The news of their kidnapping was revealed by one Adeyinka Adeboye, aka Boyebest, via a post he shared on his Instagram handle, @Boyebest, during the week.
However, in a video sighted on Thursday, shared on Instagram by @ijeomadaisy, the members of the crew were heard thanking God as they were seen disembarking from a white bus, one after the other.
Our correspondent also observed that the members of the crew seemed exhausted as their clothes looked ruffled and tattered in the short video.
As of the time this report was filed, it remained unclear whether the ransom demanded by the kidnappers was paid before the members of the band secured their freedom.
Meanwhile, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, could not be reached to confirm this report as of press time.
