Mustiboy (pronounced Mu-Sti-Boy) was born in Agege Lagos, Nigeria to the family of Alhaji (Chief) Yinusa Daodu. His father’s name is Abdul Rahman Daodu a.k.a Raymond King and his mother’s name is Agatha Daodu a.k.a Auntie Agatha.
Mustapha was born a special child as he came into life with dreadlocks (*Dada), a gift that must never be shaved off according to the myths of the Edo, Yoruba and Igbo tribes of Nigeria. Dadas are believed to have unique and spiritual capabilities of healing, extreme intelligence, and physical strength because they are the reincarnation of deities.
Mustiboy was raised by his maternal grandmother from when he was a few months old until he almost completed his primary school education as his young mother had to focus on her educational pursuits. His Grandfather, late Chief (Alh.) Yinusa Daodu, a very successful businessman in Lagos also played a vital role in Mustiboy’s childhood formation alongside his very large family.
