Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has been honoured with the Footballer of the Year award at the 72nd Annual Milliyet Sports Awards, one of Turkey’s most prestigious sporting ceremonies, according to reports by Applesbite international magazine.
The prolific forward earned the recognition following a remarkable season with Galatasaray, where he played a key role in the club’s historic domestic double triumph.
Osimhen delivered an outstanding performance throughout the campaign, scoring 37 goals and providing seven assists, helping Galatasaray secure both the Turkish Süper Lig title and the Turkish Cup.
