Comedian Gbenga Adeyinka has announced that his comedy show Laffmattazz will be touring the United Kingdom in August.
Titled “The About Time Tour,” the upcoming show will feature Gbenga alongside four heavyweight comedians, bringing a blend of Nigerian humour, music and live performance to four major UK cities.
Gbenga shared the announcement on his Instagram page on Thursday, calling it “long overdue.”
“This has been a long time coming. We’re finally taking Laffmattazz to the UK! The About Time Tour is set to bring the same energy, laughter and cultural flair that has made us a household name in Nigeria.”
The tour is scheduled to kick off in Cambridge on August 22, before moving to Nottingham on August 23, London on August 25 and Manchester on August 29.
Adding to the excitement, SB Live Band will perform in two of the tour cities, offering fans a fusion of music and comedy.
According to the organisers, discussions are ongoing to add more cities to the tour, with the goal of reaching more fans across the UK.
Founded by Gbenga Adeyinka, Laffmattazz has become a staple in Nigeria’s comedy scene, known for its vibrant atmosphere and star-studded lineups.
